By accessing or using Mapswise, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

2. Description of Service

Mapswise is a platform that allows users to create, customize, and share interactive maps. Our service includes features such as:

• Creating custom maps with multiple locations
• AI-powered map generation
• Sharing maps via links or embedding them in websites
• Collaborating with others on map creation

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of Mapswise, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access Mapswise and for any activities or actions under your password. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols) with your account.

4. User Content

Our service allows you to create, upload, and share content such as maps, locations, and descriptions ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your User Content, but you grant Mapswise a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute your User Content for the purpose of providing and promoting our service.

You represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the necessary rights to use and authorize us to use your User Content
• Your User Content does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or other personal or proprietary rights
• Your User Content does not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use Mapswise:

• In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any "junk mail", "chain letter", or "spam"
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Mapswise, a Mapswise employee, another user, or any other person or entity
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the service, or which may harm Mapswise or users of the service
• To create maps that promote illegal activities, hate speech, or violence

6. Intellectual Property

The Mapswise name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Mapswise or its affiliates. You must not use such marks without the prior written permission of Mapswise.

All content, features, and functionality of Mapswise, including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof, are owned by Mapswise, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

7. Third-Party Services

Mapswise uses third-party services such as Mapbox, Supabase, OpenAI, and Cloudinary to provide our service. Your use of Mapswise is also subject to the terms of service of these third-party providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Mapswise, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the service
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the service
• Any content obtained from the service
• Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the service or contact us to request account deletion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
